What Nev. Rev. Stat. §§118A.240–118A.250 requires

- Deposit cap: 3 months' rent
- Itemized written accounting required for any amounts kept
- Failure to return or account within 30 days: liable for up to 2x the deposit
- Surety bond may substitute for the deposit if both parties agree
