Every deposit finds its tenant

The worst hour in landlord bookkeeping is the bank-statement squint: which tenant is 'ZELLE JOHN 7421'? Why is this deposit $37 short? LetsGoLandlord's matcher does that hour for you.

Connect your bank for a live feed (or import CSV exports — both work), and incoming deposits match to leases automatically by amount, memo, and history. Partial payments allocate correctly. Anything genuinely ambiguous waits in a one-tap review queue that learns from your answers.

An AI copilot for the weird ones

For deposits the matcher can't place, 'Ask AI' reads the memo against your actual leases — nicknames, family members paying, misspellings, amounts vs balances — and suggests a match with its reasoning, or honestly says none fits. Your click applies it; nothing auto-commits.

Noise filtered, expenses suggested

Bank interest and transfers get labeled as probably-not-rent instead of cluttering the queue. Outflows that look like property expenses land on the Expenses page as suggestions with a Schedule-E category and a property guess — accept or dismiss.

Security posture

Bank access is read-only via Plaid; credentials never touch our servers; access tokens are encrypted at rest; two-factor authentication gates every bank action. Disconnecting removes the connection's data.

Frequently asked questions

How do tenants pay — do you handle the money?

No. Tenants pay you directly — bank transfer (ACH), Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, check, or cash — and it lands in your own account. We generate the payment details and reconcile what arrives; we never process or hold funds, so there are no per-payment fees. (Processor-pull autopay is on the roadmap.)

Do I need to connect my bank?

No — CSV import has full matcher support. The live feed just removes the export step.

How are partial payments handled?

Allocated against open charges with the running balance updating per line — partials were a first-class design requirement.

Can the AI mis-match a payment?

AI suggestions never auto-apply — you see the reasoning and click to accept. The deterministic matcher only auto-matches on high-confidence rules; everything else queues for review.

Is my bank login shared with LetsGoLandlord?

Never. Plaid handles authentication with your bank; we receive read-only transaction data and store access tokens encrypted.
