What Ohio Rev. Code §5321.16 requires
- Return deadline: 30 days
- Deposit cap: No statewide cap
- Itemized written notice of deductions with the balance within 30 days
- 5% annual interest owed on the portion exceeding $50 or one month's rent when tenancy is 6+ months
- Wrongful withholding: 2x the amount due plus attorneys' fees; tenant must supply a forwarding address to claim damages
