What N.D. Cent. Code §47-16-07.1 requires
- Return deadline: 30 days
- Deposit cap: 1 month's rent — Pet deposit up to the greater of $2,500 or 2 months' rent; up to 2 months for applicants with felony records or prior lease-violation judgments
- Itemized statement of deductions required with the refund
- Interest owed on deposits when occupancy lasted 9 months or more
- Unclaimed refunds go to unclaimed property after one year
