What Neb. Rev. Stat. §76-1416 requires
- Return deadline: 14 days
- Deposit cap: 1 month's rent — Plus a quarter month's rent as pet deposit
- Balance plus written itemization delivered or mailed within 14 days of termination
- Unclaimed refunds become abandoned property (state treasurer) after one year
