- Return deadline: 60 days
- Deposit cap: 1 month's rent — Pet deposits, alteration deposits, and deposits for increased-liability activities don't count toward the cap
- Itemized list of withheld amounts required within the same 60 days
- Missing the deadline: landlord owes double the original deposit
- Refund mailed to tenant's forwarding address; unclaimed funds forfeit to landlord after 90 days
